As a commercial kitchen appliance repair / equipment maintenance technician, you will troubleshoot, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on commercial food service equipment as found in restaurants, schools, hospitals, catering halls and other commercial buildings.

We provide on the job training as needed.
 

Requirements

• Technicians are responsible for maintaining truck stock inventory, following truck maintenance schedules and keeping a clean and organized truck.
• Position also requires candidates to be available for on call weeknights, weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.
• Training sessions are required and require travel outside of CT
• Must be mechanically inclined, with some background in either gas, electric, steam and/ or mechanics.
• A clean driving record is a must.  Position requires daily travel throughout CT and Western MA.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude are also important.

Additional requirements:

• Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull and reach above and below waist.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds up to 25 feet.  Occasional lifting and carrying, with or without assistance, of items up to 70 pounds., with assistance up to 150lbs.
• Ability to work with moving mechanical parts, pressurized steam equipment, open flames, heated surfaces, liquids, and risk of electrical shock
• Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and in rare cases, high, precarious places.
